    Amber and Andrew came in for two portraiture shoots: one with just themselves (well, almost...), and one with their new daughter. Here's the after shoot. We had a great time in the studio. Their daughter really was captivated by the shutter noise of the D3, which made my job a little easier. Love those tiny feet!

Extreme Sports

Every year I shoot the Island Rec Annual Skateboard & BMX Competition. It's the one time of the year that I put myself in the path of trucks and bike pedals for the community. The first year I got into the thick of the action. You kinda have to, shooting with a fisheye lens; the depth of field is so intense. Looking through the viewfinder as a skateboarder zoomed by, I'd think they were miles away, but really they were inches.
